Got a new phone ... from President Obama
It's a small thing, ... and it fits in my purse
Filled a form out, ... down at the shelter
It's a cheap phone, ... but I could do worse

It's a dumb phone, ... don't got any smartness
Makes phone calls, ... sends messages too
Makes my thumb hurt, ... pushing those buttons
I can now call ... my mother and you

And the service ... is too much for me
But this free phone ... protects me from vampires
