John took me out to dinner last night.  We went to Cancun, where Renee took me for our birthdays…  It just wasn’t as good this time.   Afterwards he took me to Superpetz and I bought a new betta.  He’s pretty, though not the same as Byte.

Another day has passed without hearing from Willow.  I’m very worried.  I LOVE YOU MY WILLOW!!!!!!

Hard to believe that Shayla is 23 now.  My Raven is growing up.

Gwenn is cooking dinner for me and Chris… I don’t know what she’s thinking, making southern fried steak when she diagnosed me herself as having gout… fat and protein, best thing in the world… NOT!  At least when Beth was cooking for me she took all my known issues into account.

Guess that’s about it for now.

Hugs,
Moss

  1. *smiles* You are still so sweet, Moss – thank you. Don’t worry about being late – I almost didn’t notice that it was my birthday, myself. >.<;;

  2. You’re quite welcome for the food I cooked for you. I like to cook, and it gave me something to do while you watched football. I don’t do too well spending ALL the time really *with* another person! I never did!I was, in some ways, “using” you to help encourage me to take care of my food allergies too. I have never gotten much help with them at home, and in fact some sabotage in that area. 🙁 Mine are essentially a subset of yours, so if I took care of yours I was taking care of mine. If I was going far enough off of “normal” food to take care of mine, I might as well go a step farther and take care of yours too. Just about as easy…I’ve got to watch cholesterol myself, so if I was watching mine, I was taking care of yours too if we were eating the same stuff.Even leaving you with all of the food I did, (a second present 🙂 )it came out cheaper than if I had gone out to a fast food place a couple of times per day, and just left you to eat your ramen. Besides that not being nice, I wouldn’t have gotten as good of stuff, or as much of it, or available “whenever”. If I’d have been at all civil to you, and taken you out with me, it would have been a lot more expensive, and still not very good, and pretty bad for both of us. I just wouldn’t have driven you crazy washing too many dishes. :)You know though, that the turkey, especially the couple of pounds in a bag I had out for something I was going to make to “stretch it”, was not good for your gout. Then again, we didn’t know about it then. Still, poultry is pretty low fat, especially the ways I cooked it. The potato pancakes weren’t, but they were pretty low in cholesterol and we didn’t know about the gout then.Then again, it works two ways. You were the one who told me about lithium orotate, convinced me to try it, and it’s doing nice things for me. Thanks.Beth
