Expiration Date

OK, I figured it out. We had a 6-month trial period, and got through it with nobody making a single move of running away or planning to leave. So we are settling down. 

Sunshine moved in on February 27. Time’s up.

We went to a close friend’s wedding yesterday, and a lot of the people who had hurt me in my past showed up and they all treated me well. It is good to see that true forgiveness exists. I cried a couple times over nice things that were said to me. A lot of other friends I have been missing for a while were there. It was a healing experience for me, and I was far from the center of attention. My sweetie got to meet some of those old friends, and they all treated her well. She had a great time. I was totally worn out by the time we got home, and I ate too much (FAR too much, maybe compensation?). I could feel better this morning than I do… note to self: no pigging out at weddings when you are doing so well losing weight.  I actually weighed 9 pounds more when I got home than when I got up in the morning.
