Well, I got off my lazy ass and took my guitar down to Beanstreets for Open Mic Night.  I can’t remember when the last time I did that was, and they have a different emcee than they had whenever the last time was.  I ran into my friend Ann and her friend Ginny, sang a few songs for them since they weren’t going to be able to stay for my 2-song performance.  In the performance itself, the pickup on my guitar sounded lousy, the guitar sounded very tinny.  The emcee says that we’ll try miking the guitar directly next time.  I did pretty well, played “Lies” and “Bluenose”.  Gotta keep Stan’s memory alive.<\/P>

I came home and put together a brochure for Asheville Homeless Network.  Jason is adding some text to it, then we’ll print the sucker.<\/P>
