This was a busy day, and I never got past my mailbox.<\/p>\n
First, I called my friend Frankie to say good morning. I called my “little sister” Aianna, to see how she is recovering from surgery (she has made two return trips to the hospital in the two weeks since the surgery). I called — and later received a return call — from my friend Cardea. I called a new friend, who is in a hospital in Pittsburgh, and also exchanged emails with her boyfriend. I got a call from Gianna Kali, a local friend (who I know is going to miss me when I move, and she has said so often). I called a recent girlfriend and an old girlfriend (didn’t get much phone time with the latter).<\/p>\n
This in addition to my work with EP\/DB, my other online work, a search for education sources, and rehearsing my lines for the movie (next rehearsal is Monday).<\/p>\n
And then, just before bedtime (now), I looked at my calendar and saw that I have a speech to give tomorrow at the graduation ceremony for a new class of Peer Support Specialists. So I took a shower, and am in bed.<\/p>\n
And people say the disabled never do anything…<\/p>\n
