Today is my mother’s birthday.  So today, in the mail, I received an envelope from her.  It contains the complete set of my baby teeth.  WTF?  I knew I’d get teeth in the mail someday, but I was thinking of a larger set…<\/p>\n

I also got the final upgrade of memory for my new old laptop.  Yayyyy!  The day would have been perfect if my SSDI check had been deposited to my bank account, but no luck.  I’ll get it tomorrow.  That means one less day I will be tempted to splurge it on chicken sandwiches or something.<\/p>\n

I guess I’m lucky.  I still have both my parents, and they are still married to each other and live in the home I grew up in (well, since before I turned 4).  Mom turned 81 today.<\/p>\n
