I did get asked to do a paid gig at a local church, substituting on my 12-string guitar for their pianist. It went extremely well… y’all know that a church is not normally my best place, but it didn’t burn down and everyone said I was awesome. Hard to turn down a gig where you’re paid $60 for a bit of practice and an hour’s worth of on-and-off work.<\/p>\n
