I recorded my first cut last night, Richard Thompson’s “Waltzing’s For Dreamers”. Maybe not the most auspicious start. After one vocal flub, I started over and finished with only minor guitar flubs. I’m leaving it the way it is, and sent it to Beth, John, Richard, Dad, and one or two other people. Some people I would have sent it to have dialup access and would take forever to download it, so I didn’t send it to them — Rhonda, Gloria, Frankie…

Still, I’m happy. It worked, and I figured out how to upload to my computer, and it sounded pretty good. I have the beginnings of a sore throat (pollen season) but I’m fighting it and it didn’t make a difference in the recording that I could tell.

YAYYYYY ME!
