{"id":644,"date":"2007-03-24T14:27:50","date_gmt":"2007-03-24T18:27:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/peacefulhippo.wordpress.com\/2007\/03\/24\/644\/"},"modified":"2007-03-24T14:27:50","modified_gmt":"2007-03-24T18:27:50","slug":"644","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/peacefulhippo.us\/blog\/2007\/03\/24\/644\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lots of stuff going on.&nbsp; My favorite cousin, Linda, went in Thursday for surgery on her never-healing leg that she broke in a bad accident several years ago.&nbsp; My best friend, Frankie, is in the hospital for dehydration from days of vomiting and diarrhea, in addition to her otherwise fragile health.&nbsp; My good friend and fellow Bard, Amergyn, died after a battle with kidney cell cancer.&nbsp; I really had several good things happen yesterday too, just not in the same league as that stuff.<\/p>\n<p>My rent is going up.&nbsp; $270, and I may have to kick something in on utilities.&nbsp; That doesn&#8217;t sound like much if you make more than I do ($750\/month on Disability) and have fewer debts, but it hurts.<\/p>\n<p>I saw Rhonda&#8217;s new apartment the other day.&nbsp; Glad I&#8217;m out.&nbsp; It is only cosmetically better than before, and I don&#8217;t like most of the &#8220;improvements&#8221;.&nbsp; But it is more than adequate for her needs, and I&#8217;m happy she has somewhere to live.<\/p>\n<p>Hugs,<br \/>Me<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nerdtests.com\/ft_nq.php?im\" target=\"_new\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nerdtests.com\/images\/ft\/nq.php?val=5681\" alt=\"I am nerdier than 60% of all people.
