News on my Grandmother — My Dad writes:<\/p>\n
The other day we found Mom in Bed without Oxygen or IV. The oxygen was
\non the floor-we had them replace it with a new tube, install the IV and
\nwraop her arm with a bandage to keep her from pulling it out. Judy has
\nfound her with Honey-water which she is not supposed to have (Nothing
\nby mouth)<\/p>\n
Dr. Hardin said that Monday they will try to
\nreintroduce some food by mouth. She has been off of food because it was
\ngoing into her lungs instead of the stomach.<\/p>\n
You see we are both needed just to keep an eye on these people to make sure that they do things that the Dr. has ordered.<\/p>\n
Looks very much like we have to put her on Hospice Care probably after
\nMonday. She is still too weak to do much walking–about 15 ft at the
\nmost and then back to bed. Today, however, we got the Hairdreasser to
\nshampoo and set her hair for her. It made her feel much better altho I
\ncouldn’t really see where it helped all that much. It did boost her
\nspirits and that was important.<\/p>\n

I have had a major change in fortune, including a quite likely good relationship. No details, don’t want to jinx it. But it means moving a long way from Asheville. The desire to live life to the fullest
To glorify our beloved Spirit<\/p>\n
Beloved of my Soul, I see in you
The power of love
And the expression of its heart felt song
In the sparkle of your eyes
In the touch of your loving hands
In your passion to be who you are
A precious gem, a child of the universe
A radiant, shinning star<\/p>\n
