The Seven Christed Qualities to Ascension<\/b>

Before we talk about embodying the energy of Christ Consciousness as a
\nnecessary part of ascension, let’s define what it is. Christ
\nConsciousness is aware energy of a particular frequency that fosters
\nthe sense of unity among all beings, matter, and energy. As we enter
\nthe Photon Belt, the frequency of our mental, emotional, and physical
\nbodies rises to the point where we approach the frequency of the Christ
\nenergy.<\/p>\n

We’ve always been able to tap into this energy during meditation or
\nthose all-too-rare peak moments when we feel connected with everything
\nand in love with everyone. That is our true state, but then some aspect
\nof the hologram we call reality creeps up on us and the sense of unity
\ndissipates.<\/p>\n

In that experience of unity, you are tapping into the Christ energy,
\nthat particular frequency at which consciousness knows it is one with
\nAll That Is. Soon we will live there, but until then, experiencing the
\nChrist energy requires us to take a few steps toward it.<\/p>\n

We can identify seven steps that we can tackle in any order or all at
\nthe same time. The latter works well, because each step interweaves and
\nsupports the others.<\/p>\n

Intent<\/b><\/p>\n

How important is all this to you? Do you yearn to embody Christ energy
\nas the number one driving force in your life, and have the Christ
\nConsciousness overlay every aspect of your life?<\/p>\n

We are all familiar with the caricature of someone who goes to church
\non Sunday and returns home to beat the children and argue with the
\nneighbors, or the congregation that discourages new members because
\nthey are somehow “not good enough.” This happens even in the
\nlightworker community, sad to say, when we forget that who we are
\ndoesn’t end at our skin but stretches infinitely within All That Is.<\/p>\n

How keen is your desire to overcome any limiting, myopic beliefs, to
\ncome out of the dark closet of separation, and embrace the glorious
\nlight that you really are? It can be scary at first, but as you explore
\nthe joyful freedom of unity, the love you feel dissipates the fear. But
\nyou must want it as much as you want your next breath. Are you ready?<\/p>\n

Selflessness<\/b><\/p>\n

Are you ready to put service to Source above service to self? Why did
\nyou incarnate here? Was it to amass personal power and wealth, or was
\nit to serve humanity and the Source in whatever ways your life skills
\nallow? Are you worried that service to Source would require a lifestyle
\nof poverty and giving up the good things in life? Do you believe that
\nyou cannot serve and experience abundance at the same time, or that
\nonly martyrs to the cause can serve the Source?<\/p>\n

It’s a matter of living the paradox: walking the line between your
\ndivine nature and your human nature, fully conscious that you are both
\na Christed being and spark of the Creator, and a human ego crafted to
\noperate in duality and separation. We are each at a crossroads every
\nsecond of our lives. We can choose to serve the big picture of
\nascension or the little picture of personal gain and profit. Are you
\nready?<\/p>\n

Transcendence<\/b><\/p>\n

Most of us incarnate into a scenario in which we take on limiting
\nbeliefs about who we are, such as that we’re separate individuals
\nstriving to “earn or learn” our way out of here. We may even believe
\nthat being mortal is a punishment of the sins of other lifetimes.<\/p>\n

Few of us are imprinted from birth with the truth that we are
\nmagnificent sparks of the Creator on a field trip to explore some
\naspect of being. We become mesmerized by others’ beliefs and fall into
\nthe traps of duality, separation, limitation, and fear. This forms a
\nrock-solid barrier to allowing the energy of Christ Consciousness into
\nour fields and keeps us small, separate, and fearful.<\/p>\n

The big question here is whether we can rise above duality, limiting
\nbeliefs, and human fear, to allow the Christ Consciousness to move
\nthrough us. Can we look beyond the hologram we call reality and see the
\nholographic generator behind the scenes? Can we see the operator who is
\nprogramming the reality we call the events in our daily lives?<\/p>\n

The law of dharma states that we each have three obligations: to know
\nour truth, to live our truth, and to share our truth. To know, live,
\nand share. Are you ready?<\/p>\n

Self-mastery<\/b><\/p>\n

Who’s in control of your life? Ego or spirit? You or someone else? A
\nwise man once said, “What other people think of me is no concern of
\nmine.” Do you allow other people to run your life with their
\nexpectations of you? Is there any place where you do not allow Spirit
\nto run the show? If something happens that casts you in a poor light,
\nis what others might think of you your first concern, or do you thank
\nSpirit for revealing some insight to you?<\/p>\n

Mastery is that quality that allows you to operate above the
\nexpectations of others so that you’re free to follow your spirit at
\nevery turn. That may infuriate the rest of us, but that’s our problem.
\nThere is no higher calling than the voice of your own spirit. Are you
\nready?<\/p>\n

Detachment<\/b><\/p>\n

Is there any part of you that believes that anything on the material
\nlevel has any real significance? Are you able to let it go? How
\nattached are you to things? Do you take pride in possessions, or do you
\nregard them simply as tools in your service to Source? Would a new
\ncomputer give you the fastest machine on the block, or would you see it
\nsimply as a tool for disseminating your truth? If Spirit said, “Give
\neverything away and join the Peace Corps,” could you?<\/p>\n

Attachments to anything or anyone automatically block you from Spirit
\nand from embodying the Christ energy. A Zen master once told a
\nself-important would-be student that the master could not serve him tea
\nbecause his cup was already full, and to return only when his cup was
\nempty. How empty is your cup? Do you have space in your beliefs and
\nyour being for the Christ Consciousness, or are you already so full of
\nattachment that there’s no room?<\/p>\n

When you are the Divine Fool to whom nothing matters because you know
\nthat you’re doing everything in some life or another, then you’re
\ndetached. Are you ready?<\/p>\n

Trusting\/allowing<\/b><\/p>\n

Bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people,
\ngood things happen to good people, and bad things happen to bad people.
\nWho decides? Spirit. Spirit will do whatever it takes in its quest for
\nknowledge and understanding, and if that takes the rise to power of
\ncruel tyrants, or the death of a great teacher, so be it.<\/p>\n

Can you rise above appearances and trust that the big picture is
\nunfolding exactly as it should? Can you trust in the perfection of the
\ndivine plan and flow with it to play your part? Can you accept that
\neverything that happens in your life is part of a larger game plan that
\nyou helped design? Are you ready to allow Spirit to work through you?<\/p>\n

Do you rail against what is, trying to manipulate yourself and others,
\nto turn the tide back, or can you allow and embrace what is as what is,
\nflow with its perfection, and seek the understanding within it?<\/p>\n

For those of us brought up in the Western world, this is probably the most difficult step. Are you ready?<\/p>\n

Love<\/b><\/p>\n

Are there any remaining blocks, fears, or judgments that prevent the
\npure unconditional love of the Christ Consciousness from manifesting in
\nyour life? If so, are you ready to ditch them, or is there still a
\npayoff for you in running fear and judgment?<\/p>\n

Fear and love are often cast as opposites, but really fear is simply
\nlow-frequency energy that prevents higher-frequency love energy from
\nflowing freely within your being. Get rid of the fear barriers, and you
\nwill experience the love.<\/p>\n

You can’t “love” anyone. All you can do is get out of the way and let
\nthe love of creation flow through you. Neither can you bring the energy
\nof Christ Consciousness into you. All you can do is remove the barriers
\nto it and it will fill your entire being. Are you ready?<\/p>\n

I am neither food nor eating, nor yet the eater am I –<\/p>\n

Consciousness and joy incarnate, Bliss of the Blissful am I.<\/p>\n

I have no misgivings of death, no chasms of race divide me,<\/p>\n

No parent ever called me child, no bond of birth ever tied me:<\/p>\n

I am neither disciple nor master, I have no kin, no friend –<\/p>\n

Consciousness and joy am I, and merging in Bliss is my end.<\/p>\n

Neither knowable, knowledge, nor knower am I, formless is my form,<\/p>\n

I dwell within the senses but they are not my home:<\/p>\n

Ever serenely balanced, I am neither free nor bound –<\/p>\n

Consciousness and joy am I, and Bliss is where I am found.
