Today Kayla and I divorced our cellphones (will take 5-7 business days to complete). I’ll probably have one more bill to pay on them. I also divorced myself from any hope that she’s going to help me out; if it happens, now I can be surprised, rather than depending on it and it not happening. <\/p>\n
I also informed Kayla that I may or may not be available for emotional support, considering how little support she has given me since she left in early August. So I’m really moving on. I don’t know how I’m going to make it, but I’ve made some changes in my financial situation and am almost to break-even — but that break-even point does not include buying groceries. Still, I have lots of friends, and they have all been calling and writing expressing their support, including some who are willing to buy me groceries or give me food until I’m back on top.<\/p>\n
I’ll get by. Have to learn to be more self-sufficient. I don’t know how it will work out, but I believe it will. My mistake was to treat Kayla as she deserved, as opposed to how she FELT she deserved. Yeah, I made mistakes. We all do. But I’m not going to stop being the loving person I have made myself into and that my friends appreciate so much.<\/p>\n
As you’ve read in the past few weeks, I’ve made some really big strides lately. This appears to be another good one. I was a bit depressed for an hour or so, but did not dwell on it and got lots of support.<\/p>\n
I’m so sorry this all happened. It could have been fixed, didn’t have to go to this point, but I’ve lived through worse and I’ll get through this. Wish me luck.<\/p>\n
