M. they rolled Mom into the operation room. <span>&nbsp;<\/span>This time the doctor insisted that they weren\u2019t going to bump her. <span>&nbsp;<\/span>They<br \/>\ngot the operation finished just shortly after 7: 00 P. M. and the<br \/>\ndoctor met us in the lobby and told us that the operation had gone very<br \/>\nwell and she was now in the Recovery Room. She would be in the Recovery<br \/>\nroom for an hour.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">It was more than an hour and at 8:40 P. M,. they<br \/>\n rolled her back in her room [name of hospital, room number and telephone number deleted]. <\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">The doctor said that they will be getting her up today for therapy&#8212;if nothing else at least just sitting up on her bed.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>He expects that twice a day and he said that he hopes that she would be walking this afternoon.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>(I\u2019ve found that the doctors have higher expectations than reality allows).<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">She was sleeping<br \/>\n peacefully when we left last night at 9:10 P.M.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>Some of that may have been due to the medication that she was on but she looked better than she has in a while.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>re: Grandma Last night at around 6: P.
