I have a problem.  I’ve never had this problem before.<\/p>\n

I don’t have enough problems.  <\/p>\n

And the ones I have go away.  <\/p>\n

And good things are happening to me every day, all the time.<\/p>\n

That’s not the problem.  The problem is, all my friends are still
\nhaving problems.  They don’t believe that all I did was change my
\nattitude, my way of looking at life in general.  And when it
\nreally gets bad, they look at me like I’ve turned into an evangelist.<\/p>\n

OK.  I’m going to miss a lot of you.  But “Ain’t It Awful”
\nwas never a fun game for me, it usually meant that everyone was trying
\nto make ME awful.  I guess I have to move on.  That
\nhurts.  So my lack of problems has itself become a problem.  <\/p>\n

I have enough friends left, even some who sometimes play the old game
\nbut still cheer me on, that I won’t feel totally isolated.  And if
\n“the other shoe drops”, I will know that we all have setbacks,
\nand working up the setback will create new symptoms.  I don’t like
\nsymptoms, so I won’t work myself up.<\/p>\n

I think I like the new problem better.  It means good things keep happening to me.  I can live with that.  <\/p>\n
