Mom is in the Coast Plaza Doctors Hospital in Norwalk CA.

Looks
like she will be there for a long time.  Her left leg is broken at the
top of the tibia just before it enlarges to the knee joint. It is a
slanting break and Dr. Allen said it is the worst kind and takes the
longest to heal because very little blood gets to that area. She will
require an orthopedic surgeon to put a plate in her leg to hold the
joint together while it is healing.  Looks like a long siege.

Cancel Thanksgiving plans! Looks like ours will be at the hospital.
