Icing a rumor…
Apparently an ex-gf is running around town telling people that I stole $10,000 from Asheville Homeless Network to pay my debts. While I would love to have $10,000 to do that with, it ain’t so. The funny thing is that $6,000 of my debt is directly attributable to her… talk about stealing from someone… I have spent a few hours downtown checking to make sure that none of the local homeless people believed it, and I’m good.
Got a long time between seeing my podiatrist at 2 and going to the Pagan Meetup at 7. The podiatrist said that some scar tissue has developed in the wound, and ordered physical therapy for me. I have an appointment sometime in May to start that.

@Amethyst62 – Thanks for the good wishes. She did this to me after we “broke up”, but then everyone believed her… you wouldn’t want to hear some of the things she was telling people then. Difference is, they know her now, and they know me a lot better.Hugs,Moss
@mordewis – That seems to be the way things work. When my husband divorced his ex, she went around town telling all sorts of tales. He would say nothing bad of her. People saw how things were and before long no one would believe anything she said about him. It should start getting easier for you now that they don’t believe her and know you better. I hope you don’t mind… I’m going to subscribe.

@mordewis – Thank you for the welcome! Ouch. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and the last I heard, (we lived in a very dinky town) she was still going strong on the rumors. (No one is listening to her but that doesn’t stop her.) And, we’ve been together over 5 years. On top of that, it was around 8 months prior to that, that she started the rumors. You just get to the point where you’re thinking enough already! I’m sure that you’re already there.I don’t know what it is with some people that they just have difficulty letting go… or they just need a lot of drama going on around them… or they just like to stir ‘it’ up. Here’s hoping that she’ll move on real soon.
Good grief! Don’t people have enough to do without maliciously causing hardship for others! She seriously needs to get over herself!!
