PaganPages.org is back up with a new issue, which did not include my next article (they had two on the queue when they went down last time). I finally got Jenn, who is very busy, to respond, and she did not have them and thought (i.e., was afraid) I was not going to write for them anymore… I have sent her the two articles. I need to get back into writing them, but it will be a couple months at least before I need to have a new one out. The article title is “Door to the Beyond: Paganism and Mental Health”, and you can read the articles from past issues on my website, Hippo Haven (in My Writing (Prose)).

I bookmarked your site. That’s cool that you lived in Grand Junction, CO. We use to live in Meeker.
@Amethyst62 – Cool, I only have been to Meeker once, but I liked it… my job in Grand Jct was to write permits for wastewater treatment plants all over western Colorado. In my 14 months at that job I never got to Archuleta or Lake Counties, and as I said only got to Meeker once… it was a cool job, but there were a number of reasons I didn’t get to keep it. The coolest thing I remember is one trip to Durango — the hotels we had State Rates at were incredible, it was cheaper to stay at the Strater than it was at Motel 6, and the Strater was an old-style luxury hotel, I don’t think they’d changed the furniture since the days of Molly Brown… I was afraid to SIT on the bed, let alone sleep in it. LOL
@mordewis – That’s awesome! Some perks make a job wonderful. The Meeker Hotel hasn’t changed much, either. I love hotels like that.
