Mom’s Birthday
Today is my mother’s birthday. So today, in the mail, I received an envelope from her. It contains the complete set of my baby teeth. WTF? I knew I’d get teeth in the mail someday, but I was thinking of a larger set…
I also got the final upgrade of memory for my new old laptop. Yayyyy! The day would have been perfect if my SSDI check had been deposited to my bank account, but no luck. I’ll get it tomorrow. That means one less day I will be tempted to splurge it on chicken sandwiches or something.
I guess I’m lucky. I still have both my parents, and they are still married to each other and live in the home I grew up in (well, since before I turned 4). Mom turned 81 today.

Happy Birthday to your mom. My mom’s birthday was yesterday. She turned 71.That’s so cool that your mom and dad are still alive, together, and living in the same house you grew up in. I was thinking that kind of stuff only happened in the movies anymore. As for the teeth in the mail… LOL I like the way your mom thinks.
@Broom_Service – I have no clue how my Mom thinks. She says that I had zero cavities when I left home, but that is not true, I had at least 3 or 4 fillings before I left home. She seems to think this should be a major event in my life, receiving all my baby teeth… I have no idea what to do with them, but I guess I won’t dissolve them in Coke LOL.
@mordewis – When I read that you guess you won’t dissolve them in Coke I was drinking and damn near swallowed an ice cube. LOL At least I didn’t spew Coke on my monitor.
