First day
Well, I’m just about to head off to work, the first time I’ve held a full-time job since 1997. I’m having all my friends pray for me and Sunshine — I’m not at all convinced she is strong enough to not have me around 40 hours per week or thereabouts.
I’m still preparing for Splendor Hollow Music Festival, a one-day event at the end of July which could either be great or a disaster but I’ll be playing there.
Hard to do all the housework, the job, and get ready to perform… honey can’t do very much…

@mordewis – Of course I do. I do know how you feel though. It seems like a lot of the people who commented and cared about what I was saying have vanished off the face of Xanga. This use to be such a jumpin’ place.
Well, Xanga used to be one of the top blogsites. Then they changed it, and changed it, and changed it, all without asking their users what they wanted… and MySpace happened, and then Facebook. A lot of old jumping sites have gone the way of all things, with Facebook taking those users. I wonder if there will be something that beats Facebook.Also, WordPress, Blogger, and others have free blogging without paying for extras.But Xanga was my first, and I’ll keep it going as long as I have good friends reading it. Which sometimes just means you, but I can live with that.
