Off to see the Wizard
OK, so Raleigh NC is not the Emerald City. Even so, Here I Go! I’ll be leaving shortly to drive the 4+ hours to Raleigh, pick Blind Lemming Chiffon up at RDU, and head for the hotel for ReConStruction. A wild, long weekend of filking (no typo, and it’s not dirty)… more science fiction fans than I’ve ever seen in one place…
I remain the most thankful of beings. My life has turned around, slowly but nearly completely, in the past 6.5 drugless years. I’ll be moving to my new home in about 45-55 days, and between now and then, there’s the convention, filming for a feature film in which I play myself, and Project Homeless Connect (where I will give away the 50-60 or so hats I’ve knit since March 1).
The Sanskrit term for this is Anugraha, divine Grace. I used to be tetched, but now am touched.
