I went to the URI Steering Committee Meeting today.  Robin Wells bought me lunch (and I helped her move some things to her new house).  We had a pretty good meeting.  We’ve covered most of the non-mainstream religions, we’re planning to do a long-term series of workshops on the various faces of Christianity.  Our first one will be in April, covering the “liturgical groups”, i.e., Orthdox, Roman, Episcopal, and Lutheran.

I went to see my new Primary Care doctor.  He’s a first year Resident at MAHEC.  Sometimes he listened really well; other times not at all.  He thinks he found a heart murmur, it was hard for him to classify it.  He has ordered an EKG, they’ll schedule it over the next few weeks.  I was pretty angry about how he tried a bait-and-switch tactic when I asked him for a muscle relaxant; the end result was no muscle relaxant at all, he wouldn’t give me the one I wanted and no way was I going to take the one he wanted to give me.  Ah well, I’ve lived for several years with no doctor at all, I can live with no drugs if I have to.

I see the Psych doctor on the 9th and the Nephrologist on the 23rd.
