Kayla got her flowers today.  She was so happy, nobody ever gave her flowers before.  I hope she decides soon to come here, at least for a visit… but I’m not sure I’d let her go …

Had a really good CERES meeting tonight, and followed it with a brainstorming session, sort of a mini-pre-retreat.

Came home and fiddled around, put my new computer back together according to the rather poor wiring diagrams included, and plugged it in … the power light flashed, the speakers did the equivalent, and NOTHING.  I’ve written Soyo and TigerDirect.  I do NOT recommend buying Soyo products, their tech support is slow and their documentation is poor.  And I learned that TigerDirect won’t accept returns except with all the original packaging… like I have room in this little apartment to keep all that.

I talked to Guy about another apartment today.  He said he had an efficiency available, it was pretty large… but no 1-bedrooms.  Waaaah.  I gotta get out of this place, 6 years of Mr. Parker is enough.
