Had a wonderful day today.  Lenny and I went to our friend
Frankie’s house in Sylva, to work on Frankie’s computer and have a good
time.  We did both… didn’t quite get done with the computer, but
it was definitely better when we left than when we arrived.  Then
Lenny and I went to O’Malley’s Pub in Sylva and had a good time hanging
out with all the college kids on St. Patrick’s Day.  And upon
returning home, I had another fabulous conversation with Pam.
Everything that could have gone well did, except for hearing that Ale
has a fever which is why she hasn’t written much.  I also came
home to more ideas on how to write a new website I’m just starting work
on.

Hugs,
Me

Addendum:  Something DID go wrong.  I left my
Organizer/wallet, with all my identification and credit/debit cards, at
O’Malley’s, and nobody turned it in.  I have protected myself on
the credit & debit cards, but some pictures are impossible to
replace (including the only picture I have of my brother), and some of
the membership and ministerial wallet cards will cost money to
replace.  Ah, well.  In front of every silver lining is a
cloud, LOL. – Moss

Second Addendum:  It’s 7 pm on Monday, and I just got a call from
O’Malley’s Pub in Sylva.  They were cleaning up, and found my
organizer/wallet tucked away somewhere.  My friend Frankie is
picking it up from them right about now, and will bring it to me on
Wednesday.  So the only problem now is waiting for my new credit
and debit cards, as all the old ones have been cancelled and will be
replaced by mail. – Moss

=====

Children, your true nature is like the sky, not the clouds. Your nature
is like the ocean, not the waves. The sky is Pure Consciousness, and
the ocean is Pure Consciousness. The sky simply witnesses the clouds.
The ocean simply witnesses the waves. The clouds are not the sky. The
waves are not the ocean. Clouds and waves come and go. The sky and the
ocean remain as the substratum of the clouds’ and the waves’ existence.
They have no existence of their own, they are unreal and constantly
changing. Like the sky and the ocean, the Witness is the substratum.
Everything happens within that supreme state of witnessing, but the
Witness remains uninvolved. The Witness simply is – pure and untouched.
