I have lost count of how many times I have stated that this was the most tiring day I can remember.

The AHN meeting today was frantic.  We are starting to get people coming to the meeting DEMANDING bus tickets and passes.  Paquita and I decided on the phone today that we will spend $400 a month as planned — people coming to the last and first meeting of the month will be eligible for monthly passes, and however much we spend on those determines how much is left for bus tickets.  And we’re going to start visioning ways to cut back on both.

Marc is in town, to put together the HomeYes Products project.  He picked me up around 1:20 (we were supposed to go to lunch, but he got too many things to do to get here in time for lunch); after the meeting he drove me to the bank, the bus station, the bus office, back to the bus station, Zacchaeus House (and back)… he drove me home and went back to his hotel room for a nap, then picked me up at 6:30 and took me to India Garden, one of two local Indian restaurants in town.  I had some chicken curry on basmati rice, it was quite good – much better than the last time I ate there.  I came home and collapsed, sleeping about 4 hours (even slept through a call from Frankie)… I’m still tired, will probably get to bed soon.

My foot looks bad.  I don’t think it is, it just looks that way.  The doctor cut off some dead-or-dying skin at my appt on Wednesday, and it leaves the surgical site much more open to infection and such…

Hugs,
Me

  1. I’m a random commenter (I found your site via the Bipolar Disorder blogring) and just wanted to tell you that you sound like such an amazing person. All of the good work that you’re doing to make the world a better place is inspiring! I hope that your foot continues to heal and that you’re able to get rested. 🙂 xoxox-Lauren
