I talked to my mom today.  She seems to be settling in to the rehab facility, and will be there for about 2 months before being sent home.

I saw the podiatrist today (Wednesday).  He says I should start wearing my shoe again, instead of the heavy cam boot.  I dunno, it does look better but still hurts like hell.

Anyhow, thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, another step was taken.
