Have you actually listened to the lyrics on the FreeCreditReport.com commercials? The one that gets me is “I could have seen this coming at me like an atom bomb.” What did he expect to do, duck and cover???

I respectfully suggest that maybe you’re thinking a little bit too much about commercials. :DBut I do have to agree that even if one can see an intercontinental ballistic missile’s terminal trajectory, seeing it doesn’t really confer any advantage. “Oh, look, a 20 megaton thermonuclear warhead. Good thing I brought my umbrella this morning! Wouldn’t want those pesky gamma particles all over my new shirt.”
