More Scams

My father had a scam in his email yesterday, one that didn’t seem so obvious.  It was someone telling him his extended warranty on his car was expiring, and he needed to renew it.  Being my dad, which is where I get my smarts, he asked them which car they were talking about — and they didn’t have a ready answer.

I get those and don’t even look at them.  I haven’t had a car for 4 years now… so I can see right through them.  Not about to extend a warranty on something I don’t even own.  But the rest of you, be careful.  You’ll probably find out that you spent money on a warranty that doesn’t exist…
